Grow fresh herbs and leafy greens at home without soil. Our hydroponic gardens are designed for beginners: set them up in minutes, add water and nutrients, and let the plants do the rest.
Top up with hydroponic nutrients and rockwool and replant supplies as you go.
What is hydroponics?
Hydroponics is growing plants in water with dissolved nutrients instead of soil. Plants get exactly what they need, so they typically grow faster with less water and less mess. Read more in our hydroponics 101 guide.
Is hydroponics hard for beginners?
Not with a kit. Fill with water, add nutrients as per the bottle, plant your seeds in rockwool, and top up every week or two. Each product comes with a step-by-step manual.
What can I grow?
Herbs like basil, mint, parsley and coriander, leafy greens like lettuce and spinach, and with enough light, fruiting plants like chillies and cherry tomatoes. Check ideal pH and nutrient levels for each plant in our plant nutrient chart.
Do I need a grow light?
If your garden gets 6+ hours of direct sun, a passive planter works well. For indoor spots without strong sun, choose the Sun Shelf or add an LED grow light.
