add a grow light to the shelf or cabinet you already have
Will it fit your shelf? Size, mounting and power are all in one place below.
“My plants are doing so much better since installing the sun panel.”
all reviews“These were better than I expected! Loving them for my carnivores cabinet!”
“So far working great, my tomato seedlings are loving it!”
all reviews“…the seedlings under them are growing well and the timer works.”
“Light was easy to install…”
all reviews“So much easier to provide light to a large amount of plants!”
You don’t need new furniture or a sunny window. The panel is 20 mm thin and fits under the shelf or inside the cabinet you’ve already got, so the plants below get their own light. It’s a warm, natural white, so it suits a room you live in.

This is the single panel kit. The triple set comes with three panels and three controllers, and still one adaptor, so there’s just one plug in the wall.
| Will it fit? | Each panel is 605 × 134 × 20 mm. Measure the underside of your shelf, and it needs to be at least that long and deep. |
|---|---|
| How does it attach? | Every box has both: a stick-on metal rail, or screw-in clips if you’d rather fix it in. No drilling needed with the rail. The panel slides into place. |
| Will it reach the socket? | Yes. The cord is long enough to reach the socket from your shelf. |
| Can panels go in different places? | A triple set runs from one adaptor and a main wire, so it suits shelves that sit close together. A single has its own adaptor. |
| Mesh or metal shelves? | Zip ties are best for fixing the panel to a mesh or metal shelf. |
Fit it once, set the timer, and it looks after itself.

Three things decide how much light your plants get: how long, how bright, and how close.

Same panel. The difference is how many shelves you’re lighting, and how close together they are.

You can set the daily cycle to 8, 12 or 16 hours on. It then runs by itself each day.
Five: 100%, 80%, 60%, 40% and 20%. Start low and step it up over a few days.
Watch the leaves. If they get crisp around the corners, the light is too close or too bright. If they reach towards the light, it’s too far or too dim. Seedlings stretch and turn leggy when they’re short of light, so give them steady light from day one.
You can. If you do, it’s best to skip the built-in controllers and let the smart plug run everything, so your on and off times are set in the smart plug. You won’t be able to adjust the brightness without the controllers, and on a triple set all three panels will follow the same schedule.
Under warranty, we replace it. After warranty, we can sell you a spare. Message customer service with your order number.
Yes, we have both. They aren’t listed on the site, so message customer service and we’ll sort it out. If one part ever fails, you replace that part, not the whole light.
