    Great Sprout Jar

I love my sprout jars. The mesh insert in the lid is a great design. I bought two so I could have plenty of spouts when it suits me. Thank you!

    Home Grown Sprouts

Absolutely love this system where I can produce sprouts as I need them. The part I appreciate most is they are always fresh and chemical free.

    Tastier than store-bought!

So quick to sprout and delicious to boot. I'm keen to try the next batch, though a tip for newbies would be to ignore the mention in the instructional video of filling the jar up to a quarter with seeds. I think that's meant for bigger seeds, not for alfalfa ones. My jar was full to overflowing and I had to separate them into a second jar.

    Loving my home grown sprouts

So much fun to start growing these sprouts and in 7 - 10 days, I have myself a cute salad accompaniment. Apart from the bonus of growing them myself, I think of all the plastic I'm not using by buying store bought ones. Yeah!

    question

i would like more information on the method of watering.
do I water once a day or more do put them in sun or shade do i wash them before and after before eating them. Is white mould OK?
Please answer my questions ASP how do you rinse fine seeds and stop them washing out the holes in the lid. More info for beginners please.
