The result? You can enjoy the flavour of freshly harvested food, grown in your kitchen and free of pesticides and unwanted bugs!

    Why You Will Love It!

    Compact and Convenient

The Indoor Smart Garden is compact and fits in even the smallest of kitchens. Once your plants reach maturity you'll have fresh herbs available in your kitchen - meaning you don't have to go to the supermarket every time you run out of herbs, and you won't have to watch herbs die in your fridge! Just harvest fresh herbs when you need them!

    Super water efficient

Your indoor smart garden isn't a heavy guzzler, it's super water-efficient, only needing to be refilled every three weeks on average! And don't worry about forgetting to water it, your smart garden has a water level indicator that will beep for you when it's thirsty - meaning you won't find any limp plants that haven't been watered.

    Wide variety of plants

You can grow a wide variety of herbs and leafy greens with this smart garden, meaning you can ditch the limp leaves and plastic bags that you would otherwise buy from a supermarket (only to watch wilt in your fridge). We recommend herbs and leafy greens such as lettuce, basil, coriander, parsley, or dill to begin with.

    Powerful Grow Lights

The indoor smart garden utilises high-performance full spectrum 8 Watt LED grow lights with an automatic timer, and reading light. It comes with a power adapter for Australian outlets, and water level indicator that beeps and flashes when you need to re-water your plants.

    Smart!

I've found the Smart Garden very useful for giving a start to plant varieties that are a bit more substantial than herbs and leafy greens. Currently serves as a nursery for the cherry tomato I've been propagating, as well as an African violet that I'm starting from leaf. The light is very good, although I've been unable to get it to operate in "timer" mode, so I just turn it on and off.

    Smart Garden

Great fun watching the sprouts grow each day. The lettuce grows very fast and the basil is starting to poke through. So easy to take care of.

Excellent product for those who can’t garden

Having unsuccessfully tried to have a vegetable garden in the past I decided to give the smart garden a go and I’m so happy I did. Lettuce is growing well with minimal effort. My 2 year old loves watching the seedlings grow and it’s very low mess which is perfect.

    dissapointed

the level alarm on the Light has forced me to put the grow pot outside I have completed all the checks that I was advised to when I have completed the growing cycle I will throw the light unit in the bin. the second unit I bought at the moment seems to be performing OK

    Great intro to hyrdo

loud beeping with low water, difficult to transplant without losing half of the roots, and medium. Timer not exactly 24hr so will turn off slighty earlier each day. Otherwise works perfectly.

Love the fact you can choose to swap light with other units

Could not hate more (but I love Gathera)

I will preface this with: I love Gathera and the grow lights, the hydroponic products, and I will continue buying from them.
However. Who in their right mind thought adding an alarm to a gd herb pot was a good idea? Surely there are other options to notify someone water is low. A flashing red light maybe? But come on, I do NOT want to wake up to the pot incessantly and loudly beeping at me, nor do I want to come home after a few days to the thing beeping away. Tough luck on the apartment neighbours who also have to listen to that.
In addition to that the lights are a manual on/off or 16 hours. Again tough luck on those who live in small spaces cos even if you manage to get it work on the timer the 'off' mode still has a bright light when you're trying to sleep.
I am replacing the use of this light with the separate wands. Could not be happier with the plants that grow and the whole concept, but you have to refine the tech you're using. I wouldn't mind an app that notifies me about water, a pH, etc. But beeping? Never.

    Best ever

I am a notorious black thumb, no matter how hard I try to keep plants alive I always fail - but now thanks Urban Plant Growers my apartment has beautiful green herbs. I've also got the EcoKitchen filled with lettuce and haven't needed to purchase supermarket lettuce in months. Love everything

    Indoor garden

I bought this as a gift for my daughter as I have been enjoying my urban garden with a supply of basil and dill all summer. So easy and enjoyable to watch them grow .
