    This is gathera's 3rd iteration of the Sun Shelf, major updates between V2 and V3 include:

    • Double the LED grow light efficiency - inclusion of lenses means our light gives you more growth for less!
    • Basin redesign - We've massively overhauled the basins that we've sold for 5 years, our new basins are 3.3x larger, easier to clean, easier to refill, have netcups with built-in algae guards, and water level indicators.
    • Bamboo Shelf - We've leaned into the bamboo style of the EcoKitchen which customers had loved for so many years. The bamboo material makes the unit strong, light weight and sustainable.


    Features

    LED Grow Lights

    • The easiest plant lighting setup you'll ever own! The sun shelf has ONE plug going into your wall, and just one connection point for each light panel, with an optional extra connection for the pump if you choose to grow hydroponically!
    • Powerful LED grow lights suitable for growing herbs, leafy greens, seedlings, indoor plants and even veggies!
    • Focused power - ultra efficient LED grow lights, each LED diode has a lens which concentrates the beam directly onto your plants - giving you more productive light for your plants to grow light an minimising your power bill. 
    • Specific wavelenths - Each panel comes with red (660nm) and white (3000k and 4000k) diodes. Providing a targeted wavelength of light for plant growth.
    • Automatic timer - The light controller allows you to change between three timer settings which allow you to turn your light on a daily timer for 8, 12, or 16 hours per day.
    • Adjustable intensity - five light intensity settings 100%, 80%, 60%, 40% and 20%.

    Bamboo Plant Shelf

    • Made from fast growing sustainable bamboo which typically don't use pesticides, fertiliser or irrigation to grow
    • Perfect for everything from house plants, seedlings or veggies. Adjustable layer heights range from 154mm to 740mm make this perfect for tall indoor plants.
    • Quick mount lighting! The mounting for the lights come ready assembled, meaning you don't have to fuss around with a screwdriver to setup your lights!

    20L Hydroponic growing basin

    • An ultra large hydroponic basin, with 18L water capacity, means super low maintenance minimum refilling
    • Comes with 18 of the world's first netcup with an integrated algae guard. Prevent unsightly and nutrient-wasting algae growth on your rockwool cube!
    • Antibacterial, foodsafe silicone netcups for easy cleaning. Single aperture makes it easy to remove your plant without destroying its roots.
    • Seamless integration. Just one power connection into the light powers the powerful pump that oxygenates your water!
    • Fuss free refills. We've integrated the shape of a funnel into the basin to make mess-free refilling of your basin a breeze.
    • Wipes clean the first time most times - Over time residue can build up in your basin, this can be root matter, particles of rockwool, nutrients or other minerals in the water. The basin's high gloss surface finish and large internal radiuses makes cleaning out your basin a breeze.
    • Plastic - but the better kind. Our foodsafe ABS is impact resistant, low scratch, won't fade over time, and is easily recyclable at end-of life
