Wheatgrass Seeds

Wheatgrass is freshly sprouted as a microgreen known for its high nutritional value. It can be used in food or blended and drunk. It serves as a dietary supplement when wheatgrass juice is drunk fresh as it contains minerals, enzymes and vitamins among many other benefits. 

Wheatgrass can be grown indoors or outdoors but we mainly use it for growing as a microgreen. the common method for sprouting indoors is often on trays in a growth medium such rockwool or coco mats and the leaves are harvested when they develop a "split" as another leaf emerges. Cut off with scissors and allow a second crop of shoots to form and sometimes a third cutting is also possible, but may be tougher and have fewer sugars than the first
